Today, I was assigned a new project with Thomson-McDuffie. The goal of this project is to create talking points and a storyboard that will be utilized to highlight their downtown development. Overall, the goal is to create three, three minute videos. One each will focus specifically on downtown development, history, and tourism. These videos will showcase significant locations, attractions, and businesses within the community to be shared with community members and with individuals outside the community. During this project, I will connect with community members, leaders, and business owners to find out what they believe should be highlighted in their video. I will also work to put together talking points, potential shooting locations, and proposed ideas for videographers to utilize. This project will take a comprehensive understanding of the community and its attributes to produce a high-quality product, so the first step is to take time to familiarize myself with the community and its history.
