Today I worked on some administrative tasks in the office such as sorting through inventory, making an inventory list, and organizing. While tasks such as these may seem monotonous or even unimportant, administrative tasks are essential for the function of any organization. Behind the scenes work often goes unnoticed, but it helps organizations to be more efficient and effective in their work. The most well-run organizations are skillfully managed by staying on top of their administrative tasks. These tasks can include things such as communications, organizing, scheduling, and bookkeeping. Keeping current inventory lists is important for our organization because we frequently use different materials at events and community meetings, so we need to always know what we have available to use and when it is time to order additional supplies. These tasks allow our work to be carried out effectively.
